About Dr. Amanda Rachel Rodman, DDS

Since a young age, Dr. Rodman remembers wanting to be a dentist. She grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, but now calls South Florida home with her husband and son.

Dr. Rodman received her Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. While in dental school, Dr. Rodman completed a digital dentistry “clerkship” which focused upon many of the innovative dental technologies which are used at Burman Dental today. In August, Dr. Rodman trained in the office with Dr. Burman for a smooth transition into the practice.

What has always appealed to Dr. Rodman is the ability to have a direct impact on patient confidence and oral health, making sure that her patients feel comfortable and receive high quality, conservative and personalized treatment. “The most important thing to me in my practice is the relationship I have with my patients; I will always place that above any other consideration.”

Understanding the need for ongoing learning, Dr. Rodman devotes time annually to continuing education. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

When not in the office, Dr. Rodman relishes spending time with her husband and son at the beach and local parks. She enjoys riding horses (since she was five) and was an intercollegiate athlete while at the College of Charleston. An avid Yogi, Dr. Rodman helps her patients apply many breathing techniques she uses during Yoga practice to reduce anxiety and relax.

I can’t wait to meet you to provide you with an exceptional dental experience and help you create the smile you have always wanted.”
