Root Canals

Endodontic treatment, more commonly known as root canal therapy, is needed if the soft tissue (dental pulp) inside the tooth has become infected or injured. Although many people believe the procedure is painful or risky, with today’s standard of dental technology it’s actually just the opposite.

A device called the apex locator is used for accurate diagnostics and treatment planning, and the modern rotary endodontic method is a gentle and precise technique. As a result, the most common complaint of the modern dental patient is that root canal treatment becomes boring because the delicate procedure takes more time than a tooth filling.
