Restore your smile with porcelain crowns in a single visit with CEREC 3D technology
Your smile is a beacon of welcome, warmth, and confidence to those around you. Healthy teeth are essential for your overall oral and physical well-being. Advances in dental technology and innovative procedures have transformed the dental industry.
At Burman Dental, LLC, which serves patients from Jupiter, Palm Gardens, Tequesta, Juno Beach, and surrounding communities, we understand that your smile is a personal and professional asset. That’s why Dr. Steven Burman and our team are committed to investing in the most effective technologies to help you to achieve your ultimate smile: conveniently, comfortably, conservatively, and efficiently.
If you are trying to deal with a tooth that’s cracked, damaged, or aesthetically displeasing, a crown is a popular restoration because it covers and protects the tooth, restores stability and appearance, and enhances your smile.
In the past, dental crowns were available in metal bases covered with porcelain or gold, which required several trips to the dentist. Temporary restorations were used for approximately two weeks while an offsite laboratory manufactured the crowns. The process to receive your crown included making impressions of your teeth.
Today, thanks to advanced technology and progressive doctors like Dr. Burman, you can receive a natural-looking, beautiful porcelain crown in a single visit to Burman Dental, LLC. Porcelain is an ideal material for restorations because of its strength, durability, and ability to be matched to the color of your natural teeth.
This process is simple and convenient. Using a hand-held camera, Dr. Burman gently captures three-dimensional digital images of your tooth or teeth. Computer-aided design software allows Dr. Burman to enhance the image chairside to custom-design the restoration while you watch.
With just a push of a button, the digital impression is sent to the milling machine where pre-selected, color-matched porcelain is precisely carved into your crown, filling, inlay, or onlay. The restoration is glazed, tested, and bonded into your mouth.
CEREC technology enables Dr. Burman to create beautiful, custom-tailored restorations with many advantages, including:
